The ingredients needed to cook Jackfruit kheer:
- Use 10 pieces of Ripe jackfruit or 1cup.
- Use 1 1/2 cup of thick Coconut milk.
- Take 1 cup of thin coconut milk.
- Use 1/2 cup of Jaggery.
- Take 1/2 cup of Water.
- Take 1 tsp of Cardamom powder.
- Provide as needed of Cashews.
- Take As needed of Rasins.
- Prepare 1 pinch of Dried ginger powder optional.
Instructions to make Jackfruit kheer:
- Heat ghee in a pan add cashews and rasins untill roasted.
- Take a big bottom vessel, heat ghee in a vessel, add chopped jack fruit and saute it well..
- Continuously saute it untill jackfruit will be well cooked.
- Add jaggery (u can add either good quality chopped jaggery or take thick bottom vessel add chopped jaggery and water boil untill it melts. Strain the jaggery to remove the impurities..
- Once u add jaggery continuously mixed together.
- At this stage add thin coconut milk, cardamom powder, dried ginger powder and mixed slightly. Heat it low flame at least 10mins..
- Finally add the thick coconut milk mixed it, for this condition switch off the flame, once u add thick coconut milk again don't need to boil kheer.
- Now add the roasted nuts and serve it.
